My experience as a school counselor has heightened my sensitivity to the pressures children and teenagers encounter in school—pressures to conform, excel academically, manage emotions, foster friendships, and cultivate self-esteem. These challenges are particularly daunting for individuals coping with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other mental health conditions. Over the years, I've assisted numerous children in acquiring the necessary tools and abilities to confront these obstacles head-on, enabling them to flourish not only in their academic pursuits but also in their interpersonal relationships and overall well-being. I am eager to contribute to your child's journey, empowering them to build resilience, bolster confidence, and develop strategies tailored to their unique circumstances.
My approach integrates empathy, creativity, and evidence-based methods to nurture your child's individual path toward growth and resilience. Drawing from my background as a play therapist, I employ techniques that not only make therapy enjoyable and captivating but also profoundly impactful.
As a parent myself, I understand the pain of seeing your child struggle. I would like to help your family find hope and healing. I find it incredibly rewarding to watch children grow, heal, and discover their strengths through therapy. The laughter and joy in my therapy room reaffirm my career choice daily, fueling my dedication to helping children thrive.
